Genesis 30:14-15

14 ¶ And Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found amandrakes in the field, and brought them unto his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, Give me, I pray thee, of thy son’s mandrakes.

15 And she said unto her, Is it a small matter that thou hast ataken my husband? and wouldest thou take away my son’s mandrakes also? And Rachel said, Therefore he shall lie with thee to night for thy son’s mandrakes.

I was reading and stumbled across these two verses and it made me wonder what the significance of the mandrake was in their culture.  It obviously meant something as Rachel was willing to trade a night for them.  The Topical Guide mentions superstition but it does not go further than that.

Gratitude

Today I am grateful for a support team that can fix things when I make a mistake.

Random Thoughts

Today I was working on getting everything together for the launch of Leads Generation Magnet and so I was working on my Facebook group (and still am). So it was quite the coincidence that what I was reading in The Miracle Morning for Entrepreneurs was also talking about using Faceboook and especially how to use a Facebook group.  lol. I don\’t think it was coincidence at all.
