Elder Brick V. Eyre of the Seventy, in his October 2025 General Conference address “Know Who You Really Are”, tells a great story about clicking the wrong button and sending a horrible message he did not mean to send about someone applying to be a temple ordinance worker to the temple president. After trying to unsend the message and fix the problem he ultimately calls up the temple president and admits his horrible mistake.
I love what the temple president says to him: “There is nothing that you have done that can’t be forgiven and ultimately corrected.”
What a wonderful statement and it teaches such truth in our lives, thanks to the Savior. Through repentance and the atonement, we can be forgiven of anything that we do. It is not without our work of admitting our wrong and correcting it, but through the atonement it is all possible.
Jesus Christ is indeed “Mighty to Save.”
