Genesis 37:9
And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
Joseph\’s dreams foretold what would happen in Egypt though none of them knew that at the time. I wonder how often we may have dreams foretelling future events for us too. Dreams are often full of symbolism that can be hard to recognize as well.
Gratitude
I am grateful for all that I was able to do today. I completed 3 review videos and got work done on Leads Generation Magnet today.
I am also thankful for the chance to see my friends Terry and Dalinda while I was in Utah.
Random Thoughts
I have been away for several days and didn\’t have the chance to write. I went to Utah to visit my brother-in-law who is dying of brain cancer and my sister and all my family. It was good to see all my family, we have not all been together in many years. And we all got to visit with Loren and give him our love and say our good-byes before he is gone.
I drove up to Utah last Thursday and stayed with his brother and sister-in-law, Lance and Amy, who were really nice people and I am thankful to them for letting me stay with them.
It was so good to spend time with my family and see them all. My sister, Holly, has been out in Utah for the last two weeks helping Heather deal with all this and helping with all the things that have to be done.
It was so good to see Heather despite the situation.
And one of here cousin-in-laws who is a professional photographer came and took pictures of our family and we got pictures of all of us together and individual families (including one of Kaidin and I together as a family) and individuals and all that. It was great and so nice of her to do that. I\’ll post the pictures when I get them.
On my way back home on Sunday I also had a chance to stop and see an old friend, Terry. While I was there I found out that another old friend, Dalinda was living in an apartment in his basement. It was really wonderful to see them both.
Dalinda and I were roommates when I lived in Orem finishing my Master\’s degree at Brigham Young University and Terry was our landlord. But it was more than a landlord-tenant relationship. Dalinda and Terry had been friends for many years. Terry and I became good friends as well and went on several cruises together. He even asked me to marry him. I wish now that I had said yes, but I didn\’t. I let my father\’s opinion of a man who was 15-20 years older than me sway me and I decided not to. It was my decision, don\’t get me wrong. I made the choice.
We haven\’t kept in close touch, but we have exchanged some letters and phone calls over the years and it was VERY good to see him again. I promised I would come see him again when I come up for the funeral. Terry\’s getting older now and I don\’t know how many more times I will get to see him.
