My friend\’s husband took her to school today, so I got to stay home and build things online. Her mother will be taking her next week, so I will spend more time working away at home.
As you may have noticed, I spent time building a contest today. It really didn\’t take long and it\’s something I think I will do more often.
It\’s a great way to build your list and to build it virally.
While it\’s not free (you do have to pay for the thing you\’re giving away and the shipping of it), if you choose your items carefully it can be cheaper than a solo ad.
There are several services you can use to host your contest, then all you have to do is promote it and get people to share it. Giving them extra entries in your contest will help encourage sharing.
I give extra entries just for sharing and then more entries when people you share it with register also!
I found a simple necklace to give away, and you can give away anything that has value.
