Enoch saw the coming of the Lord and his soul rejoiced:

And behold, Enoch saw the day of the coming of the Son of Man, even in the flesh; and his soul rejoiced, saying: The Righteous is lifted up, and the Lamb is slain from the foundation of the world; and through faith I am in the bosom of the Father, and behold, Zion is with me.

Imagine how that must have been and note that he rejoiced because he saw the coming of the Lord and His crucifixtion, “The Righteous is lifted up, and the Lamb is slain.”

He rejoiced because he knew that because that happened we all can be resurrected and we all can be forgiven of our sins. He knew the mercy of the Lord, “through faith I am in the bossom of the Lord.”

Later he and his city, Zion, were taken up. Oh to have that much faith!
